Description:
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team. We’re looking for a part-time position caregiver to cover 2–3 seven-hour shifts per week, with weekend availability as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who truly values supporting older adults, is patient and empathetic, and is dedicated to promoting comfort, dignity, and a fulfilling daily life for those in their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering individual dietary needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
