Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including assembling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
• Serve customers promptly with friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols throughout your shift
• Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards
• Support the team with basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate order processing

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or working in a quick service & fast food restaurant environment
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and retail transactions
• Experience in culinary tasks such as food prep or kitchen work is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours in a busy café or restaurant setting
