Role

The Food and Beverage Manager at Amangiri is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage departments, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experience. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader to manage, train, and inspire the Food & Beverage team, while upholding the standards and values that define Amangiri’s dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize the greeting, seating, and departure of all guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.
• Train, evaluate, and schedule all restaurant staff to ensure high standards of service and performance.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and report generation.
• Regularly inspect all areas of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to Amangiri’s high standards.
• Respond to guest inquiries, coordinate special arrangements, and handle bookings to ensure smooth service delivery and maximum sales.
• Provide strong leadership and support to all Food & Beverage staff, motivating the team to uphold exceptional service standards.
• Assist in daily reports, track departmental performance, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
• Maintain an active trace system for guest preferences to personalize their dining experience.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment by encouraging input and sharing best practices.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly hotel and Food & Beverage meetings, assist in menu development, and contribute to revising departmental procedures when necessary.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment or a similar food and beverage management role.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
• Positive, energetic, and engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, wine, and spirits.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and guests from various cultural backgrounds.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance in accordance with company policies.
