What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per-Diem PACU Registered Nurse position at ADVANCED MEDAESTHETIC PARTNERS INC?
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support PACU recovery and Level III surgical workflows in a high-end in-office plastic surgery center.
This role is integral to our Level III program and supports patients undergoing facelifts, breast procedures, tummy tucks, awake lipo, eyelid surgery, and other advanced cosmetic cases. You’ll be part of a highly skilled clinical team focused on safety, precision, and an elevated patient experience.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, intended for clinicians who are comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, high-acuity recovery environment on a per-diem basis.
What You’ll Do

Provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care in the PACU setting

Monitor airway, vital signs, pain levels, and overall patient stability

Administer medications and treatments per provider orders

Assist with Level III surgical cases within RN scope as needed

Deliver clear discharge education and recovery instructions

Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

Support emergency preparedness protocols and team drills
What We’re Looking For

Active Florida RN license
-
BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred

Prior experience in PACU, recovery, or ambulatory surgery

Plastic surgery or office-based surgical experience strongly preferred

Strong assessment skills and confidence in post-anesthesia care
