Step onto the second shift and run multi-tasking Mazak Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) that power mission-critical automatic control valves. Your craft keeps industries moving.

A day in this role

• Set up, operate, and fine-tune programs at the control on Mazak multi-tasking HMCs.
• Study blueprints to confirm dimensions, tolerances, materials, and workholding approach.
• Run first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify quality.
• Document production and quality results; complete required work records accurately.
• Maintain proper fluid and coolant levels and perform routine care on machines.
• Safely hitch, rig, and manipulate parts for setup and production.

Schedule

Second shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities.

This role sits at their headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.

What you’ll bring

• 3 years operating CNC mills or lathes.
• Comfort editing programs at the machine control.
• Solid grounding in shop theory and GD strong blueprint/drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Knowledge of coolant and fluid maintenance procedures.
• Know-how with safe hitching and rigging techniques to move parts.

Compensation

“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $20/hr and $35/hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.”
