In this position, you will work on set up and operation of HAAS and Doosan 3-4 axis mills, lathes with live tooling, and more. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30 - 11 PM) that will train on 1st shift. While ensuring a comfortable work-life balance, some overtime opportunities are also available. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate mill turns, 3-4 axis mills, and/or lathes with live tooling
- Edit programs at the machine
- Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications
- Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions
- Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc
- Perform daily maintenance of machines
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in operating CNC Mill Turn machines (or strong mills and lathe exp)
- Experience editing programs at the machine (Fanuc & HAAS controls)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge and use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to learn and grow with the company
