Clinical Duties
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight).
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (blood, urine, swabs).
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
- Conduct EKGs and other basic diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system.
