Warehouse Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, where you will be responsible for delivering products and equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in warehouse operations, to include material delivery/retrieval, customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while maintaining a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain goods and equipment from vendors in a safe and timely manner
• Operate company vehicles to transport material to assigned destinations and/or retrieve material
• Assume responsibility for payment collection during approved pickups or deliveries
• Unload and accurately receive incoming equipment/products; assist with loading and unloading
• Inspect materials for defects
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs during loading
• Maintain and practice the Company’s safety policies and procedures
• Record and complete entries on delivery roster in accordance with procedural guidelines
• Inform management of any concerns or issues that might affect the efficiency of the route
• Perform routine inspection of the assigned vehicle before departing each day and upon return
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels; notify the facilities department of needed repairs
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned
• Understand and act upon instruction
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks
• Must maintain a valid driver's license in good standing and immediately notify management of any change in its status
• Must have regular, reliable attendance

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for your state of residency and an excellent driving history for the last seven years. (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)
• Must be approved for the Company’s “Approved Driver’s List”
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs. of product repetitively
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends if needed
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience
• Required to read and write English, and use simple math

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
