Astro Event Company is looking for a dependable, experienced Warehouse Associate & Driver to join our growing team. This isn’t your typical warehouse job—you’ll help bring some of the best weddings, parties, corporate events, and celebrations in Hampton Roads to life.
This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, veterans, and anyone who enjoys hands-on work, being part of a team, and working in the event industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Load and unload trucks for events
- Deliver and pick up event equipment throughout Hampton Roads
- Assist with setup and breakdown at weddings, parties, venues, and corporate events
- Keep warehouse inventory organized, clean, and event-ready
- Properly handle, load, and secure event equipment
- Inspect equipment before and after events
- Work closely with our warehouse and event teams to keep events running smoothly
- Safely operate company vehicles and represent Astro professionally at venues and client locations
Requirements:
- Clean driving record is a must
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to our Chesapeake warehouse
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with physical work
- Willing to work some evenings and weekends based on the event schedule
- Warehouse, delivery, moving, logistics, event, or similar hands-on experience preferred
We are especially interested in experienced drivers with strong driving records and are willing to compensate accordingly for the right candidate.
