Summary of Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist will use their professional skills to assess and evaluate the patient and develop an individualized plan of care in coordination with the patient's caregiver, physician, and other home health staff. The goal of the Physical Therapist will be to help the patient set goals based on their health history and personal concerns that will improve their balance, and gait while improving their strength, range of motion, and endurance safely to return to independence in the home setting.
Qualifications
- Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in physical therapy from a nationally accredited school with board approved curriculum.
- Licensed to practice as physical therapist in the state of Idaho.
- Two years (2) of appropriate experienced as a physical therapist (PT) in community/home health or clinical experience, preferred.
- Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with agency requirements for traveling to patients to provide care.
