**Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong administrative background and be familiar with medical terminology.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments and patients balances
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic health record system
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
-Obtain insurance preauthorization for medical services and surgical procedures
-Schedule medical and surgical procedures
-Review incoming taxes and process them according to the practice policies.
-Review patients messages from the portal and process them according to the practice policies.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Medical Assistant tasks is a plus
- Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems
-Management of the online practice's profiles and sending links to clients to obtain reviews
