CORE EXPECTATIONS
- PRIOR OBGYN EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED
- Prepare the patients for examination, taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment and procedures and assist the physician during the examination.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens to be send to Quest or LabCorp. Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies.
- Experience inputting requisitions with Labcorp OR Quest computers and software.
- Prefer if have Experience with eCW/eClinical Works
- Arrange examining-room instruments and equipment, maintain supplies and equipment, and keep examining rooms and working areas neat and clean.
- Administrative experience, including answering telephones, greeting patients, updating and filing patients’ medical records and documenting procedures and office visits, filling out insurance forms, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and coordinate hospital admission, surgeries, laboratory services, and outside referrals for the physician.
