Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of lining technicians during CIPP installation projects, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
- Prepare and review project plans, including site assessments, material requirements, and work schedules
- Operate and oversee specialized equipment such as inversion units, curing systems, and inspection tools used in CIPP lining processes
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed linings to verify quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and timely completion
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including daily reports, quality assurance records, and safety logs
- Train team members on best practices for CIPP lining techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation processes and implement effective solutions promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lining Technician with expertise in CIPP installation within drainage or sewer rehabilitation projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of CIPP technology, inversion methods, curing techniques, and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards such as OSHA regulations and environmental guidelines
- Ability to operate specialized equipment used in advanced drainage repair processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical challenges
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and project stakeholders
- Valid certifications in confined space entry, trench safety, or related areas are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and operating equipment in various weather conditions
