Regional Sales Manager
Location: North Canton, OH / Remote with Travel
Advanced Digital Cable, Inc. (ADC) is currently searching for a motivated and strategic Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a defined sales territory, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to the continued success of ADC. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this individual will manage existing accounts while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role will require regular customer interaction, travel within the assigned region, and close collaboration with our Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact.
- Manage customer accounts with professionalism, ensuring expectations are clearly set, met, and exceeded whenever possible.
- Complete all administrative tasks—including call reports, expense reports, CRM updates, and follow-up documentation—in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding quotes and customer visits to drive conversions and strengthen relationships.
- Travel regularly and effectively throughout assigned territory to visit current and prospective customers, ensuring optimal coverage and engagement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and sales objectives for the assigned territory and key customer accounts, aligned with company goals.
- Ensure quotes are accurate, competitively priced, aligned with profit goals, and feasible for production capabilities.
- Actively seek out, engage, and develop relationships with new customers to expand ADC’s reach and increase market share.
- Coordinate closely with the Inside Sales team to align on customer needs, share information, and provide seamless service and support.
Qualifications include:
- Proven track record of success in outside or regional sales, preferably in the wire & cable, electrical, or industrial markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a high degree of initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
- Solid understanding of sales cycles and B2B sales environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX or ZOHO are a plus.
- A college degree is preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
