TURBOdesign Technology, Inc. (TDT) is the USA exclusive distributor of Advanced Design Technology, Ltd. (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced software for design, analysis and optimization of turbomachinery components for major manufactures within the aerospace, automotive, industrial, marine and power generation industries across Europe, Japan and USA. We are looking for a senior turbomachinery design engineer to support and expand its activities.
Your role will embrace a multitude of tasks, from demonstrating TURBOdesign products and services to qualified prospects, gaining consultancy projects and supporting TURBOdesign Suite software implementation in customer’s design cycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field with a solid knowledge of turbomachinery aerodynamics;
- At least five years experience of turbomachinery aerodynamic design in industrial or consultancy environment;
- Outstanding organization and presentation skills.
Additional Qualifications
- An established network of contacts in the turbomachinery industry;
- MS or PhD a plus, particularly in a related field to turbomachinery;
- Experience with various turbomachinery applications such as pumps, compressors, fans and turbines;
- Familiarity with the application of commercial CFD codes (ANSYS Cadence or Siemens) and Finite Element codes to turbomachinery analysis;
- Familiarity with automatic optimization methods;
- Possibility to obtain US Security Clearance.
