Up to $1500.00 sign on bonus. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations of our dental practice. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental software.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records.
- Process patient insurance claims, including familiarity with dental coding.
- Handle medical billing inquiries and assist with care plans as needed.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is required..
- Proficiency in Open Dental software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental billing procedures and coding practices are beneficial.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with office software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in a friendly manner.
