Job Summary

ACT is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on safely performing highly diversified maintenance duties within the facility infrastructure according to predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the facility's business goals and objectives. We are a growing ESOP company who manufactures an extensive range of rugged military power supplies and power related products. Our customers rely on us to provide innovative solutions to stand up to their most demanding applications.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • HVAC certified EPA section 608
  • Basic awareness and understanding of OSHA/NFPA standards and guidelines for a manufacturing work environment
  • Ability to read measurements and blueprints. Strong math skills.
  • Ability to use all hand and power tools and equipment required by position safely and effectively
  • Basic machinist and fabrication skills. Electrical knowledge a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience to perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry duties
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures preferred
  • Ability to effectively utilize computerized maintenance software and MS Outlook
  • Self-directed motivated team player dedicated to continual quality improvement of facility infrastructure
  • Demonstrates and maintains a professional demeanor in all situations including the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality as required by the position

Work Environment:

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
