We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Associate II to join a well known client’s team in Clayton, NC. This role provides essential administrative support for departmental operations, handling complex and confidential tasks that ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
This is a short-term, 30-day assignment, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment and provide immediate support.
The Administrative Associate II will serve as a key partner to leadership and staff, managing communications, coordinating operations, and supporting budgeting and reporting activities. This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support for departmental activities, including document management, reporting, and communication coordination.
• Screen, prioritize, and route mail, correspondence, and documents based on content and urgency.
• Maintain and organize departmental files, records, and reports to ensure easy access and compliance.
• Compile, analyze, and summarize data to assist with the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports.
• Review reports for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain and reconcile departmental budget records, including preparing projections and recommendations.
• Process and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Prepare correspondence, letters, memoranda, and presentations based on departmental knowledge and business needs.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and logistics for leadership and team members.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting materials, attend meetings as needed, and document key discussions or action items.
• Support departmental initiatives, special projects, and company events as needed.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in a professional environment.
• Experience supporting office management, communications, and budget-related activities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and sensitive business matters.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and multitasking.
EDUCATION
• Associate degree or equivalent post-secondary education in business, administrative support, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
