What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleanroom Technician position at Advanced Cleanroom Microclean (ACM)?
Overview: About Us: Our company has been in business for over 40 years and continues to grow throughout the country. We are currently looking to add a GMP Disinfection Technician to our existing team to help maintain our client’s clean rooms and laboratory space
Responsibilities:
- Must always possess the willingness to learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior.
- Perform proper cleaning methods, such as vacuuming, emptying trash, wiping techniques of equipment, occasional mopping of walls, ceilings and floors.
- Responsible for the preparation of cleaning/sanitation solutions and cleaning materials to specifications.
- Adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements defined in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Follows and executes client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Accurately documents solution prep and cleaning activities in logbooks according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s) Qualifications: Attire:
Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE) will be required to ensure our team members safety and protect the technician from slipping on wet surfaces, cleaning chemical splashes, inhalation, and exposure.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work around various cleaning chemicals that produce non-hazardous odors like bleach and vinegar.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Steady work experience with excellent attendance record.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
- No Experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right individual, but they must be detail orientated and possess the willingness to learn new concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work.
- Legible error free handwriting
- Ability to speak/write and understand Intermediate English
- Proficiency in software applications and computer literate (Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
- Knowledge using different Technical Devices
- Open availability (Weekend, day shift, night shift and holidays)
- Open Availability for Day Time Trainings (2-3 weeks minimum)
- Adaptability : Quickly learning new technologies and applying them in daily operations.
- 12 hour shifts required. Rotating schedule
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, criminal background checks and meet all ACM and client training requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
