We are a professional hood cleaning and commercial kitchen maintenance company committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a proactive and dependable Service Manager to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
This is a hands-on role combining customer service, operations, and fieldwork. You will be the point person for client communication, scheduling, field coordination, and service delivery. You will hire onboard and train new hires. Resolve customer issues with professionalism and urgency. Provide great customer service. Maintain the quality standards and ensure processes are followed. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic environments, pays attention to detail, and can juggle both customer and operational management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinate and schedule jobs and field crews for both daytime and nighttime shifts
- Handle on-site service tasks, including hood cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment use.
- Hire and onboard new hires and provide management oversight.
- Handle disciplinary issues with employees
- Be the face of ACS in front of customers. Resolve issues promptly and accurately.
- Maintain operational quality standards and training.
- Conduct safety checks, ensure OSHA compliance, and complete safety training
- Climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and cleaning materials
- Drive to various job sites with reliable and insured transportation
- Support business development through customer referrals and upselling services
- Document services, collect payments, and follow up with customers post-service
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple job sites
- Availability to work flexible hours: days, nights, and some weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders safely
- Must be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in field service, customer service, or facilities/maintenance is a plus
- Safety certifications or willingness to complete training
- IKECA certification preferred
- Mechanical experience preferred
- KEC industry knowledge a plus
