Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in various maintenance and cleaning tasks focused on Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning primarily. Cleaning large surface areas with tools such as hot water pressure washers and chemicals. Going up in roofs for cleaning tasks is essential. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers are safe from fire hazards and their equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a clean and safe environment for all. Work may take place after hours and must be available to work nights and evenings with reliable transportation and license.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning including kitchen exhaust hoods, appliances, HVAC systems, air ducts, surface cleaning of large areas, disinfecting, sweeping, moping.
- Conduct inspections to identify any issues with system and document findings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning service and uphold quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Knowledge in using safety procedures when working with chemicals and cleaning agents. Safety minded
- Handle chemicals safely
- Utilization of PPE for safety
- Working in heights and confined spaces
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.
- Ability to work in heights and confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, and the KEC industry, general mechanical knowledge preferred,
- Familiarity with safety standards. Preferred IKECA certifications.
- Ability to read and follow clear instructions.
- Detail oriented. Focused on meeting standards.
- Fire safety knowledge.
- Commercial cleaning experience handling chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment.
Clean record as background check is required to go into certain accounts. Training will be provided on the job for the right candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
