Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition
- Support residents with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
- Active CNA Certification in the state of CT
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Shift differentials
- 1199 Position
