Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum in Ohio and New Jersey. We offer services in homes, schools, and our ABA centers in Beachwood and Columbus, Ohio.

This position with be in office Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for families seeking ABA therapy services in the assigned region, guiding them through the intake process and answering any questions or concerns they may have via phone, email and text. (i.e. Age range, schedule options, insurances we accept, therapeutic model, etc.)
Collaborate with the billing department and insurance specialists to provide them the necessary paperwork so they can verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and process necessary paperwork for new and existing clients.
Coordinate and maintain scheduling of therapy sessions with our team of therapists. Communicate with therapists their start date and schedules.
Track and keep record of cancellations and absences, communicating with the clinical director on a weekly basis so the director can then address any attendance issues that fall outside the ABT policies. Manage daily cancellation from therapists and clients and attempt to locate substitutes and coverage.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient intake, insurance authorizations, scheduling, and communication in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Serve as a liaison between families, therapists, and other internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of care and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
Qualifications:
Experience in an office setting for a least 2 years.
Experience in scheduling and coordinating.
Experience in healthcare a plus
