Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, assembly techniques, and quality assurance practices. And be bale to stand on your feet for 8 hours. Be to work on time and to be ready for the day. Be able to lift around 50 lbs. if needed. Able to work with hot parts out of the tool, with gloves, 120 to 200 degrees F. Must have good reading comprehension because all of the job instruction are in written. Must have good energy level to keep up to production demands. Good communication skills are also required.
Duties
- The molding machine operator must be at their assigned press 10 minutes prior to the start of their shift to receive a run down on how the job is running from the operator on the previous shift.
- The machine operator must understand and follow the job instructions on their assigned press and communicate any problems with the parts to the trainer, quality inspector or supervisor as soon as possible to limit the scrap being produced.
- The machine operator will perform a visual inspection on the part they are running confirming that the part meets the product requirement in the work instructions.
- Assemble parts and components on the assembly line, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the production process.
- The machine operator may have to load components onto a nest where the robot will pick them up and place into the tool for over molding.
- The machine operator may have to use a knife to trim excess plastic from the parts they are running, this is called flash.
- The machine operator may have to place the part into a check or a assembly/check fixture to confirm that the components are all present and to perform other checks as the company deems necessary.
- The machine operator may be require to apply promoter on to the part and they may have also apply different tapes of flock.
- The machine operator will have to pack their parts the product as the job instruction.
- The machine operator will be responsible to clean up their assigned press.
- The machine operator will complete a PMF (Production Monitoring Form) which tracks the molding machine run time and documents any downtime and along with the reason for the downtime. The PFM also has an area to track any non-conforming product that they produced.
Experience
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Will need to know how to use a knife to be able to trim excess flash in sometimes hard to trim placing.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
