Educational Qualifications
- Nursing Degree: An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Experience
- Clinical Experience: At least 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or a related field.
- End-of-Life Care: Familiarity with end-of-life issues and comfort in discussing them with patients and families.
Skills and Competencies
- Assessment Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills to evaluate patients' needs and manage care plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate Care: Ability to provide empathetic support to patients and families during difficult times.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Hospice and Palliative Care Certification: Certification from a recognized body, such as the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) or a similar organization.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Current certification in BLS for healthcare providers.

- Emotional Resilience: Ability to cope with the emotional aspects of caring for terminally ill patients.

We offer $58 per hour, with mileage expenses covered.
