Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing, welcoming, dependable and organized individual to add to our team as a medical receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for families and clients, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must be someone who genuinely cares for others. This role requires time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
Duties
- Greet, welcome, and check in patients with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming phone calls, providing information and directing calls as necessary with excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records and files.
- Schedule and manage appointments.
- Preparing and maintaining patient charts
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and tidy manner.
- Provide support to other administrative staff as required.
- Work with teammates to ensure a please and professional experience for our patients
- Collect copayments and Balances
- Verify insurances and update patient records
Requirements
- Experience as a receptionist or in a clerical role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Team player and enjoy working with others.
- Enjoy being around children and making a difference in their lives.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite or similar software is preferred.
- Comfortable with computer skills and technology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
