Job Description:

SAP ECC (6.0) with strong AMS and enhancement experience

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT (PRIMARY SKILL)

• Rich experience in MM competency and experience / certification on SAP ECC
• Experience across MM in both implementation and AMS support projects
• Experience in preparation of functional documentation and end‑user training

• Strong hands-on experience in core MM processes:

• Subcontracting
• Stock & Consumable procurement
• Service procurement
• Scheduling Agreements and Contracts
• Vendor Management
• Invoice Verification

• Experience in special procurement:

• Stock Transfer Orders (Inter / Intra company)
• Subcontracting processes

• Experience with enterprise structure setup:

• Plant
• Storage Location
• Purchasing Organization

PRODUCTION PLANNING (WITH STRONG MM–PP INTEGRATION FOCUS)

• Hands-on experience in SAP PP module in ECC environment, primarily from AMS support and enhancement projects
• Strong understanding of end-to-end MM–PP integrated processes, including material planning, procurement, and production execution

• Experience in core PP processes:

• Demand Management
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Planned Orders & Production Orders
• Order Release, Confirmation, and Closure

• Strong experience in MM–PP integration, including:

• MRP-driven procurement (PR/PO creation from MRP)
• Availability checks and material staging for production
• Reservations and goods movements linked to production orders
• Backflushing and consumption postings
• Subcontracting integration between PP and MM

• Experience working with PP master data tightly integrated with MM:

• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Work Centers
• Routings
• Production Versions

• Experience supporting PP integration with:

• MM (material planning, procurement, inventory)
• WM (production supply / staging where applicable)
• FI/CO (production consumption and settlement postings)

• Analyze production and material planning issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with business, MM teams, and ABAP teams for fixes and enhancements
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and support UAT for MM–PP related changes

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT (SECONDARY)

• Configure and support:

• Goods Receipt, Goods Issue
• Transfer Posting, Physical Inventory
• Warehouse stock movements

• Manage WM organizational structures:

• Storage Types, Sections, Bins
• Movement Types and Control Parameters

• Hands-on experience in:

• Putaway & Picking strategies
• Transfer Orders (TO)
• Warehouse Confirmations

• Strong experience in MM–WM and PP–WM integration ensuring seamless inventory and production supply flow

• Lead incident, problem, and change management activities in AMS with SLA adherence
• Analyze requirements and coordinate with ABAP teams for enhancements

EXTENDED WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT – EWM (DESIRABLE)

• Exposure to SAP EWM in standalone setup integrated with SAP ECC
• Understanding of ECC–EWM integration architecture and document flow

• Experience / exposure in EWM processes:

• Inbound and Outbound Deliveries from ECC
• Internal Warehouse Movements
• Physical Inventory

• Knowledge of EWM structures:

• Warehouse Number
• Storage Types, Sections
• Activity Areas

• Familiarity with ECC–EWM master data integration:

• Business Partners
• Material Master replication
• Packaging specifications (basic exposure)

• Working understanding of delivery-based integration between ECC (MM / SD) and EWM

This is for a AMS project in SAP ECC 6.0

Should have SAP ECC (6.0) with strong AMS and enhancement experience

Candidate needs to be Lead level

Should have good comm skills

Should have experience working with offshore teams
