Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Lead / Architect to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP EWM along with strong leadership capabilities to guide business and technical teams through complex warehouse transformation initiatives.
This role requires onsite presence in North Dakota on a structured schedule, especially during the initial project phases.
Onsite Travel Expectations:
- First 3 months: Onsite every alternate week
- Post 3 months: Onsite once per week
- Travel expenses will be fully covered by the client
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementation and rollout projects
- Architect scalable and efficient warehouse management solutions aligned with business needs
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional and technical designs
- Configure and optimize core EWM processes such as inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and internal warehouse movements
- Drive integration with SAP modules such as S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, and TM
- Provide leadership to functional and technical teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Oversee testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
- Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live support and stabilization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP EWM
- Proven experience as a Lead or Architect in at least one full-cycle EWM implementation
- Deep knowledge of warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, RF, HU management, and labor management
- Strong understanding of EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA and other logistics modules
- Experience in decentralized and embedded EWM architectures
- Ability to lead workshops, solution design discussions, and client presentations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries
- Exposure to automation technologies (RF devices, conveyors, ASRS, etc.)
- SAP certifications in EWM or S/4HANA
- Familiarity with Agile and Activate methodologies

- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing role
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to project needs
