| POSITION SUMMARY |
|
The GED/ISAEP RODEO Program Teacher is responsible for teaching classes to high school, GED/ISAEP, students ages sixteen to nineteen, including curriculum development, evaluation of students’ progress, and accurate maintenance of all students’ records. GED tests require students to demonstrate their ability to apply, analyze, and evaluate information. Therefore, the development of a course of study for each student, based on the areas in which the student needs remediation is critical. Classroom instruction should be interactive and incorporate a variety of teaching techniques, materials, and resources, always keeping in mind the ultimate goal of students’ success on the GED exam.

| EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
- Must have a license to teach in Virginia and thorough knowledge of GED instructional practice. TABE Administration and GED Ready Test Administration preferred.

| KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES |
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, direct, and monitor the ISAEP assessment and instructional program. Candidate must prove competency in the subject(s) they teach.
