What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Educator position at Adult Learning Center?

We have a wonderful opportunity for Assistant, Associate and Lead Teachers in our Early Childcare Adventures Program. We serve young children ages 6 weeks - 5 years, year-round in a high quality early care and education program.
The ideal candidate will interact in a positive way with children, parents/guardians, and staff, possessing the ability to provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged and individuality is respected. Commitment to maintaining professionalism in daily interactions with children, parents and staff; commitment to working cooperatively with co-workers and administration; respect for diversity and inclusion.
Monday-Friday / 5-8 hours per day / 25-40 hours per week
Minimum Requirements and Pay Ranges:
- - $20-$23 hourly – 18 ECE Credits or Degree from an accredited College or University with concentration in Early Childhood or related field
- - $17-$20 hourly - A minimum of 9 ECE Credits from an accredited College or University
- - $15-$17 hourly – Experience working with children
All Child Care Teachers MUST have the following experience and attributes:
- High School Diploma or HiSET/GED Certificate
- Ability to comply with and meet NH Child Care Licensing requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to react quickly and keep up with moving children
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust
