Associate Child Care Teacher
Join our Community of Quality & Joy and feel the reward of making a positive impact for children and families each day. We have a wonderful opportunity for a new team member. We serve young children ages 6 weeks- 5 years, year-round, in a high quality early care and education program.
Seeking an Associate Child Care Teacher who will interact in a positive way with children, parents/guardians, and staff. Ability to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality is respected. Commitment to maintaining professionalism in daily interactions with children, parents and staff; commitment to working cooperatively with co-workers and administration; respect for diversity and inclusion.
Monday-Friday/8 hours per day/40 hours per week
Specific Responsibilities of an Associate Child Care Teacher:
- Assist in providing a warm and nurturing environment in which a child can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
- Work effectively as a team contributor
- Use appropriate and positive behavior management techniques
- Maintain required credentials, licensing and NAEYC standards
- Participate in staff development activities; maintain required hours of training
- Attend required staff meetings
Qualifications:
An Associate Child Care Teacher MUST have the following experience and attributes:
- High School Diploma or HiSET/GED Certificate
- A minimum of 9 ECE Credits from an accredited College or University
- Ability to comply with and meet NH Child Care Licensing requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to react quickly and keep up with moving children
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
