POSITION/TITLE DESCRIPTION: ADULT LEARNING CENTER Evening Administrative Assistant
I.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Evening Adult Learning Center Administrative Assistant must have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent.
a.Strong preference will be given to a candidate who is proficient in at least one primary language of the student body (Haitian Creole, French, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Spanish).
II.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Adult Learning Center Evening Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing the front office during the evening hours. Primarily, this person is the face of the ALC for anyone who enters or calls. Duties include (but are not limited to):
a.Answer phone calls and emails
b.Monitor and respond to the Aiphone entry system
c.LACES data input
d.Clerical duties
e.Assist Learner Support as needed
f.Field student questions
III.COMPENSATION: According to contract
IV.WORK SCHEDULE/YEAR: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 4:30-9:00 PM
Salary : $22 - $38
