Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and updating using warehouse management systems such as AS400 and RF scanners
- Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Support warehouse distribution activities by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment with precision and speed
- Conduct stock replenishment and ensure proper stocking procedures to optimize storage space and accessibility
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining detailed records
- Perform materials handling tasks involving heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge to ensure safe movement of goods
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards by following safety protocols during all warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment processes
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance when necessary
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling safely
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures and use of RF scanners for order picking is preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments is highly desirable

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
