Our organization is currently seeking an Internal Communications Specialist.

A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• Facilitate and improve internal communication to ensure employees are familiar with the organization?s vision, strategic initiatives, policies, events, important news, and deadlines.
• Establish, maintain, and govern an internal calendar of communications, events, and announcements.
• Prepare and distribute communications materials across print, digital, and intercompany channels.
• Build and implement communications plans, email announcements, intranet content, and digital/printed sign content.
• Write and edit content for internal communications.
• Maintain consistent writing style, company voice, and brand guidelines across all communications and channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement change management communications to increase awareness and change adoption.
• Suggest new and innovative means of communicating relevant messaging across the company.
• Measure communication effectiveness, gather feedback, report findings, develop and manage action plans to improve internal communications.
• Participate in the planning and execution of small and large-scale events.
• Drive & optimize internal communications program.

Education/ Experience required for this role:

• Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field required.
• At least five years of internal communications experience required. Combination of work experience and education will be considered.

• Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a ?Driver? as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
• Valid driver?s license
• Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
