About the Role:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement. This role focuses on creating compelling content tailored to various social media platforms to attract and retain a loyal customer base. The specialist will analyze social media metrics to optimize campaigns and ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives. Collaboration with buying, sales, and customer service teams is essential to maintain a consistent brand voice and respond effectively to customer inquiries. Ultimately, this position aims to leverage social media channels to increase foot traffic, online sales, and overall customer satisfaction within the retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to promote retail products and services.
• Create engaging, high-quality content including graphics, videos, and written posts that resonate with target audiences and reflect the brand’s identity.
• Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, questions, and trends, responding promptly and professionally to enhance customer experience.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategy adjustments and demonstrate campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and customer service to align social media efforts with broader business goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a retail or consumer-focused brand.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with social media advertising and paid campaign management.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
