- Cleaning out the kennels (including urine, feces and vomit)
- Feed, water, walk, and play with pups and cats
- Bathing dogs
- General clean up
- Maintaining a positive attitude towards clients, coworkers, and, of course, all of our clients
- Communication with our vet staff to insure proper care for all of our guests
- Loving and playing with our pups in playtime
- Supervise large play groups
- Attention to detail is a MUST
Requirements of a kennel staff
- Willingness to work some weekends and some holidays
- Some experience with animals is preferred. If none, willingness to learn
- Genuine love and respect for all animals
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
This is a very rewarding and fun job! It also can be very fast paced at times and is taken very seriously to ensure that all of our pets are comfortable, safe, and well taken care of.
