Position Summary:

Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR) partners with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide intensive, home-based Support and Stabilization Services to parents, caregivers, and their children. The goal of these services is to strengthen family functioning, enhance child safety and well-being, and support families in achieving identified goals while maintaining safe, stable, and nurturing home environments.

CSR provides individualized, family-centered services that address a wide range of needs, including parenting education and support, behavioral health and medical care coordination, community resource navigation, educational and vocational assistance, and advocacy related to legal matters such as domestic violence, probation requirements, and Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) proceedings. Services are tailored to each family's unique strengths and challenges and are delivered in collaboration with DCF and other community providers.

Family Stabilization & Support Clinicians conduct one to two home visits per week, as determined by the referral and family needs. Clinicians provide ongoing assessment, crisis intervention, advocacy, service coordination, and goal-focused support throughout the duration of the contract period. Regular communication and collaboration with DCF staff and other service providers are essential to ensure coordinated care and successful outcomes for families.

  • Prepare and submit monthly reports and other required documentation within established deadlines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans through the Virtual Gateway system, ensuring activities align with goals identified by DCF and the family.
  • Complete progress reviews and treatment plan updates at required intervals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
