Skillforce is hiring Commercial Electricians for ongoing project work in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and finishing electrical systems on commercial jobs. Commercial Electrician Pay:
- $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on your commercial electrical experience.
- W-2 employment with weekly pay.
Commercial Electrician Schedule:
- Monday through Friday on a morning shift.
- Daytime hours with your weekends kept free.
- Immediate openings on ongoing commercial projects.
Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Bend and install EMT conduit and run MC cable for commercial power and lighting circuits.
- Pull, terminate, and label wire in panels, junction boxes, and devices.
- Set boxes, supports, and hangers so conduit runs are neat, straight, and up to code.
- Read blueprints and electrical drawings to lay out and complete your own work.
- Install and connect panelboards, disconnects, light fixtures, switches, and receptacles.
- Test circuits and troubleshoot problems so systems are ready for inspection.
- Coordinate with the foreman and other trades to keep the job on schedule.
- Follow jobsite safety and lockout and tagout procedures and keep your work area clean.
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
- At least three years of commercial electrical experience.
- Ability to run your work on your own with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical prints.
- Hands-on experience bending conduit and terminating panels on commercial jobs.
- Commercial new construction and tenant fit-out experience are both welcome.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
