What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Adoption First Veterinary Clinic?
Adoption First Veterinary Clinic is looking for passionate animal lovers to join our team! . The hours are 7:30am to 4pm Monday- Thursday with some Fridays.
Hourly rate is $12-17 per hour based on experience.
This person must be:
able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
be meticulous and be very detail oriented
reliable
Duties include:
MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO LIFT 50LBS. There is a lot of lifting required in this job.
preparing animals for surgery
maintaining records
sterilize and wrap surgical packs
communicate with the public
answer phone calls and emails
Looking to hire in the next couple of weeks! Adoption First Veterinary Clinic is passionate about spaying and neutering animals in our community to lower the euthanasia rates in shelters. Any applicant should be passionate about animals and working with rescues to help county shelters.
