About the Role
Adolescent Wellness Academy is opening a new PHP/IOP facility in Boca Raton and is seeking a Primary Therapist to join our founding clinical team. This is a unique opportunity to help build culture, structure, and clinical excellence from the ground up while providing high-quality care to adolescents and families.
The Primary Therapist is the clinical owner of each client’s treatment experience, responsible for assessment, treatment planning, therapy, family engagement, and case management throughout the course of treatment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents in PHP/IOP

Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and master treatment plans

Lead each case from a multidisciplinary perspective in collaboration with psychiatry, case management, and external providers

Communicate weekly with families regarding progress and expectations

Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Facilitate assigned groups and participate in clinical meetings and case conceptualization

Support crisis intervention as needed

Coordinate aftercare planning with families and outside providers

Complete documentation within required timeframes and compliance standards
Requirements

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern or Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) in Florida

Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy

Minimum 2 years of experience in adolescent mental health or treatment settings (PHP/IOP preferred)

Strong clinical skills and comfort working with families

Eligible for DCF & AHCA Level 2 background screening and drug test

Spanish or Portuguese bilingual preferred
