Medical Scheduler
Job Summary:
Coordinates Nurse Practitioner schedulers for in-home wellness assessments and other preventative screenings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs outbound calls to our members to schedule their wellness assessments on behalf on the health insurance in the home or via telehealth
- Responsible for the management of the Nurse Practitioners calendar and ensuring their schedules are full
- Proactively reviews, monitors, and adjust calendars for max efficiency
- Provides rapids support and timely response to Nurse Practitioners and operations teams
- Handles last minute scheduling cancellations or revisions
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge standard office procedures, including oral and written communication skills
- Competency in use of computer technology
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all forms of communication
- Ability to multitask
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates for employment will be sent to a designated facility to undergo a drug-use test as part of pre-employment process.
- High School Diploma
- One year experience cold calling
- One year customer service experience
