Community High School District 99 seeks a strategic, operational, and people centered leader who will serve as the district’s chief instructional leader of learning environments and resources. The successful candidate will understand how effective learning depends on safe facilities, reliable systems, responsible budgeting, well-managed operations, and strong school partnerships. This leader will bring clarity, consistency, and calm while balancing high expectations with responsiveness to student and staff needs.
As a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, this position manages the district’s print and digital learning resources, oversees technology and infrastructure, supervises facilities operations, and leads long-range planning tied to fiscal responsibility and Board priorities. This position serves as a leader of technical experts in the areas listed above and serves as the instructional visionary leading these responsibilities.

Required IL Licensure and Education: PEL - GADM, Teacher Evaluator Designation, MS in Education; Doctorate degree preferred. Principal and/or Superintendent endorsement required.
The Assistant Superintendent for Learning Resources must have district or school level administrative experience as well as familiarity in selecting curricular resources, advancing educational technology initiatives, school safety and security, and the responsibilities involved in managing facility needs (including buildings and grounds) to provide oversight of the technical experts leading in those areas.
Salary Range: $191,507 - $210,927
