Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$60,000.00 - $91,000.00

Job Description
- Compound batches for evaluations of alternate raw materials/substitutions and maintain thorough documentation.
- Conduct sensory evaluations of products to assess taste, smell, appearance, and overall quality
- Establish a solid understanding of ADM Wild Software Management Systems to complete research, record notes, and generate shipments.
- Assist in sample preparation and lab inventory management. Monitor and stock ingredients for use in sampling ensuring all ingredients are properly stored and correctly received from the sampling team.
- Perform technical analysis on samples & record results in project files. Understand and perform basic math conversions.
- Maintain ADM’s general lab cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Take personal responsibility to engage in plant and food safety practices to prevent hazards that cause foodborne illness or injury and provide a clean, safe work environment and quality products.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a science related area with expertise in food science, nutrition, quality, or chemistry preferred.
- 1 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a similar field (preferred).
- Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, work independently and meet established deadlines.
- Able to identify subtle differences in sensory characteristics
- Problem identification and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- A team player ready to contribute to a thriving culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer software applications.
