Interior Designer
The Interior Designer supports the design and documentation of interior environments across commercial projects in ADM Group’s core markets. This role requires strong design and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while contributing to multiple projects simultaneosly.
Responsiblities
• Work closely with the project manager and/or senior designer to understand project objectives.
• Participate in all phases of the design process including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Assist in developing interior design concepts including space planning, finish palettes, and FF&E selections.
• Produce construction drawings, details, and specifications for interior design projects.
• Support the creation of renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and team members to maintain design continuity
throughout the project.
• Work with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators on selections and specifications.
• Review contractor submittals to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with experience in commercial markets including but not limited to Education, Municipal, and Corporate projects. Our clients mandate very short timeframes for production; therefore, candidates must be able to succeed in a fast-paced office environment and manage details for multiple projects simultaneously.
• 3-5 years of experience in interior design with a focus on commercial projects.
• Degree in Interior Design required.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and interior detailing.
• Experience with FF&E selection and coordination.
• Working knowledge of materials and building systems.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
