What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADM Elementary Long-term Substitute Teacher, 1st Grade position at ADM Community School District?
The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking applicants interested in fulfilling a long term substitute teaching position for a 1st Grade classroom in late September of the 26-27 school year; for approximately 6 weeks.
Adel Elementary is a progressive preschool through first grade building with small class sizes and an energetic, collaborative staff. Adel Elementary educates approximately 400 students and is located directly west of Waukee on the edge of the Des Moines metropolitan area.
The ideal candidate would have experience using best practices in literacy and math instruction and have experience with technology integration within the classroom. The ADM staff uses the Professional Learning Community model.
Requirements:
- Valid Teacher License K-6 Endorsement
- Reading or Math endorsement preferred
