Duties
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and community engagement
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess insurance needs across health, life, property casualty, and commercial lines
- Present insurance quotes and close sales while ensuring client understanding of policy details and benefits
- Manage all aspects of sales administration using CRM systems to track leads, follow-ups, and client interactions efficiently
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and personalized insurance advice
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on negotiation and client engagement
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Prior experience with insurance sales or knowledge of health, life, property casualty, or commercial insurance preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively convey complex information clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards, HIPAA compliance for health information, and benefits administration is a plus
Pay: $31,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
