What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at ADK Spay and Neuter?
Part time veterinary assistant position at HVHQSN facility. Candidates will be required to check patients in and out, assist with patient handling, answer phones, clean and pack surgical instruments, assist in patient prep for surgery, help monitor patients in recovery, maintain facility cleanliness.
Must be a good communicator, have good customer service skills, understand how to interact with dogs and cats as well as people. Excellent computer skills a must. Experience with dogs and cats required, experience in veterinary medicine is preferred. Busy fast paced clinic looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team member.
No nights or weekends or holidays, must be available Tuesday through Thursday. Approximately 20-26 hrs per week. Pay rate dependent on experience.
