Frame Fitter for Fine Art Frame Shop
Adjective Art & Framing is a full-service fine art frame shop and manufacturer of custom-made contemporary hardwood frames for artists, collectors, galleries, and museums. Adjective Art & Framing is looking for a dedicated, hard-working person to join our team as a Frame Fitter.

Responsibilities:
- Art handling/packaging
- Mounting fine art to substrates
- Fitting fine art into custom frames
- Cutting materials to size (mat board, cardboard, gatorboard, coroplast, glass, acrylic)
- Daily 3S cleaning/organizing
- Utilize kanban system for relaying ordering needs
- Maintain standardized workspaces
Qualifications:
- 4 years Fine Art Framing and Fitting experience in a professional setting
- Experience and understanding of a variety of mounting processes and materials including, but not limited to, Dry mounting, Hinging, Photo Corners, and Canvas Stretching
- Confident with hand-held tools, both powered and manual
- Comfortable with accurate measurements and working with fractions
- Comfortable using computers/technology to assist work
- Experience cutting mat windows, by hand or with a CMC
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self motivated, self directed
- Ability to move, transport, and position items weighing up to 50lbs
