Summary:
You will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production plans.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers daily regarding delivery schedules.
- Manage factory Hot Part Requests, Aged ASN’s, Goods Receipt Compliance Issues, and supplier delinquency recovery plans.
- Work with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers and monitor and improve supplier performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supply base, using Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
- Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Gather and analyze data to ensure business objectives are being met.
- Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to support the production plan, including recommending premium logistic alternatives when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, or Supply Management discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of Order Fulfillment process.
- Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of unit processes and operations.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Must be willing to relocate domestically.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Desired Skills
- Previous supply management or planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Cross-functional experience in areas of material flow, logistics, operations, and supplier development.
- SAP Landscape Knowledge.
- Proficient in Tableau, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $25.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
