SQL Server Database Administrator

Payrate: $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
 
Required Skills:

• Develop comprehensive documentation, procedural notes and deployment scripts for updates involving tables, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues, including identifying and resolving table locks, blocks, and deadlocks as well as some network, credential and permissions related issues. (e.g. AD account access, SQL accounts etc.)
• Architect or co-architect high-availability database solutions (e.g., Always on Availability Groups, Transactional Replication)
• Install, configure, and provision SQL Server environments

• Ability to design, understand and execute archival processes and jobs, including restoration of operational data.
• Perform SQL Server updates, including cumulative updates, security patching, and version upgrades.
• Design and execute database maintenance, focusing on indexing jobs and database integrity checks.
• Understand the TMDS database schema
• TMDS/CAD application and interface knowledge
• Analyze and optimize long-running T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

 
Pay Transparency:  The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00 - $70.00 /hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law.  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.  Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings account option for qualified medical plan enrollments, accrual of up to 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, travel reimbursement, accommodations for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
